See, that's why I ended there. I didn't know how it would end. In my opinion, the fact that The Doctor was the only one who could stop The Family from killing everybody was pretty much the only reason why John Smith decided to change. If they're in the TARDIS then they're pretty much safe and The Family can't get to 'em [assembles hordes of Ghengis Khan anyone?] so he really has no reason to kill himself. Also, I played with the idea that Rose would force/threaten him but it didn't sit right. Sure, she loves him enough to kill Daleks to save him but an innocent "human"? I think that might be a bit much for her conscience. Which is why there won't be a second chapter. Others have done it already and I don't want to angst over the Doctor's Return/or the opposite.

I just really wanted to do a different take on the scene in the dance hall. And that scene where Smith questions Martha as to "what she does for him [The Doctor]" which I felt was rather rude.
