Advent Calendar 2008

Edit: Anyone is eligible as long as you can leave a request.

Hey guys. Remember this?

I wanted to get a head start (unlike last year).

Here's the challenge: every day, from December 1 to December 31, I will post (at least one) drabble-ficlet. All these drabbles will be Holiday-themed.

All you need to do is pick which fandom I'll post on each day! Leave a comment with the date you'd like me to post a drabble for you on, and the fandom and characters of choice! If you would also like to include something you'd like to see in the fic, feel free to add that to the list, too.

This year, I'll only be taking one request from each of you. Mostly because I'm hoping that more people will want to come out and join the festivities. Also, I'm snagging the 25th for myself, to make it more equal, of course. I don't mind slashy requests though, fair warning, I won't write anything explicit.

Fandoms (The quick and dirty list, though if you know I've written in one that isn't listed here, feel free to ask. *refuses to write for Heroes*): Doctor Who (New), House M.D., Firefly, Inuyasha, Yu Yu Hakusho, Lord of the Rings, Batman, Stargate: Atlantis, Stargate SG-1, Supernatural, Sailor Moon, Ugly Betty, Labyrinth, NCIS, Card Captor Sakura, Dark Angel, Equilibrium, etc.

First come, first served basis.

Sorry. No CSI knowledge but I can definitely do your second prompt.

Yay! :D That's fantastic! I can't wait. Plus, I could always try to write the other one myself and probably will eventually. Greggo is my favorite character and my imagination likes to run away with my hands. Unfortunately, I have to catch up more before I can think of writing it, I'm in the beginning of the third season and it has 9+... :( I have a long way to go! XD I'm gonna love every minute of it though!

Thanks so much for accepting the prompt!

I know how you feel. I worked my way through all the seasons of NCIS and got caught up for the season premiere (and I got my roomie hooked).

Then, I started going through MacGyver and Highlander but I only made it to second season on the former and mid-season one on the latter before class got in the way. It's exhausting.

I think I've probably stayed away from the CSI franchise because it has so many spin-offs and I'd be tempted to jump into all of them. Which, *dies* would kill me.

I know, I started with CSI: Miami, mostly because it was on after my classes were done for the day and interesting. From there I found the original (also because it was convenient to watch) and got hooked on the characters. As I type, I'm watching an NY marathon that's on some other channel. I'm so addicted. XD

Oddly enough, while I love the original CSI, I haven't been at all tempted to watch any of the others. Because while I like the show concept, it's the characters that grabbed me, and since those characters aren't in the spin-offs, they feel enough like separate shows for me not to feel as if I'm missing out if I don't watch them.

Oh, but if CSI was awesome I'd think 'Wow, are the other ones like this?' and then I'd have to check and see.

And, warning, I can be very easy. Seriously, I'm weak. I probably won't go crazy (but then, I rarely do and most of my squee isn't expressed online and I don't write much fic...so yeah.) but still. It's a daunting thing to consider.
