I obsessively watched all 7 seasons of Buffy back to back about 5 or 6 times in the space of 2 years after I finally decided to watch it...
The reason I read LotR 3 times in one year, though, was because I was writing scholarly articles on it and/or Tolkien a lot that year... But yeah, major bibliophile here - and always have been - and (though I say it as probably shouldn't) it's paying off now that I'm writing fiction myself.
