Buffy and Dawn were both confused and disturbed when an English law firm contacted them about their English family’s holdings.
“We’re not telling Giles,” Buffy stated firmly.
Dawn nodded as she flipped through the journals of an Evie O‘Connell.
“Buffy,” she called to draw her sister’s attention to a passage.
“Can you honestly say you’re surprised?” Buffy questioned dryly.
“Mom could have told us, at least.”
“About Egypt, Mummies, Medjai and our freaky family motto? Death is only the beginning.” Buffy mocked. “She probably didn’t believe it. Remember how she wouldn’t talk about Grandpa Alex?”
“Just more Summers’ weird.”
“Yep.”
