I agree, a couple of the HN/FoB rewrites I've seen don't change things as much as I feel they should with with Rose in the mix. I mean, it's hard enough to stage the bare bones of the story with her around, but a lot of it would have to change just because it's Rose, and the Doctor's feelings towards Rose.
