Reading definitely improved my vocabulary and spelling. Grammar too but punctuation is still a killer. [makes a face]
I definitely don't have the energy to love something that much. I mean, I got into Firefly and House but I just watched the episodes back-to-back once. Any more than that I'd get frustrated.
Mostly I watch and then explore through fanfiction. I find that lots of writers have such innovative and brilliant views into the characters and situations. The watching is just the base, to get the character's movements, language and mannerisms in my mind and then the writers just build on that.
