dominique012. I suppose if I were a brat I'd call it just desserts for people who open their gifts early, but I'm not. :-) So very sorry for being so late. It was like the more I put it off the less I could bring myself to do it. -_-; *FAILS*

“Abby?” Gibbs stared with surprise and concern at his unexpected visitor. “What are you doing here? It’s three in the morning!”
“A Christmas lover’s work is never done, Gibbs. Besides, three? That’s nothing! I work later hours in the lab,” she finished her cheery, wide-awake ramble with a teeth chattering shiver.
Gibbs sighed and stepped back from his door. “Get in here before you freeze, Abs. And explain what this is about. Coherently,” he added with emphasis.
Abby strode past Gibbs, towards his kitchen with confidence and bounce. “I brought stuff.”
“Stuff?” Gibbs questioned with his interrogative edge. “I can see that, Abs. What kind of stuff?”
Abby set her tote (decorated with plump little bats wearing Christmas hats) down and started to unpack.
“Hot chocolate, cider, eggnog, candy canes, those orange chocolates that you bang--I love those things, don’t you?--and this!” she exclaimed as she brandished an unmarked disc.
“Abs,” Gibbs began with wearied patience. “It’s late.”
“But it’s Christmas! And I brought goodies and A Charlie Brown Christmas so we could watch it and then there would be exchanging of gifts--”
Gibbs halted her chatter with a firm hand over her mouth. “Sleep, then breakfast, then movie, then gifts.”
Abby pouted.
Gibbs sighed and gave her a kiss to soften his gruff manner. “Put that stuff away and come to bed.”
