Character(s): Arwen/Aragorn.
Date: December 4
Author’s Notes: For Monty who wanted LOTR, Aragorn/Arwen, and Reindeer. The reindeer is there just not particularly important. And this is the little tidbit my mind came up with. Not much fluff and practically a drabble but I hope you like it. (Spaces still up for grabs at my Advent Calender.)
--------
She took his hand and asked him to follow her.
He could do nothing else.
The snow was a crystal blanket that decorated the forest and she was its center, the focus of everything.
The ethereal glow of her grace, the shine of her eyes and curve of her smile--how lovely her shape, how entrancing the soul that blazed underneath the silk of her skin.
She was divinity given form.
The trees bent to give her their reverence. The numerous inhabitants of the woods formed an unlikely but adoring court, welcoming a beloved queen.
There had never been a question, there had been no other alternative but to love her.
The only wonder was that she loved him as well.
