The patient was a young man with an, as of yet, undiagnosed problem.
“So, is Thirteen actually your name? If it is, I’m suddenly feeling better about the name my parents foisted off on me.”
She smiled. “House just calls me that to annoy me.”
“Didn’t we fight for the right not to classify people by numbers?” he questioned.
She shrugged.
“So no idea what’s killing me yet huh?”
“We need to do a few more tests--”
“That’s a no then.”
“You have the best people on the job.”
She turned to leave. “Thirteen is way better than Lavelle.”
“HEY!”
