Daniel glared at the defiant young woman.
“This isn’t a game! I need that text.” He was ready to pull his hair out in frustration. He was close. That book had information that could help them against the Ori and this girl refused to let him see it.
“I don’t play games! The book is important, we need it to--”
“What? Be the center of a collection? Peoples' lives are at stake!”
She looked like she wanted to deck him.
She left instead.

A week later, he found the book and a note in the mail.
