Woolsey’s heard the rumors. But like those he’s heard about O’Neill and Jackson, O’Neill and Carter, and even O’Neill, Jackson, Carter, and Teal’c, he’d dismissed them because he knew how unreliable rumors could be.

Once he’d seen how close all SG teams were the rumors became all the more laughable.

And if he wondered sometimes--when McKay had a certain expression, when Sheppard had that certain tone in his voice--well he didn’t contemplate it for long. He didn't want to know. Especially if it were true.

The day Woolsey found out, there wasn’t an invasion, no one was fatally injured, and the city wasn’t in any danger.

John Sheppard walked into Woolsey’s office. “McKay and I, we’re in a relationship.”

Then he walked right out.

Woolsey sighed and tapped his earpiece. “Dr. Keller, I think Col. Sheppard is in need of medical attention, he may have been compromised off world.”
