I'm of the opinion that Cassie might accidentally-on-purpose not finish the Labyrinth. She knows the havoc Jack and Sam will cause. If Jareth doesn't help her through it by the fourth hour he'll toss them back himself with threatening suggestions to never darken his kingdom again.
