“Sheppard, I need you on the east pier.” The feed from Rodney’s earpiece cut off abruptly but John was already in motion. He wasn’t worried. Rodney hadn’t sounded panicked or terrified, simply brisk and serious. But it didn't hurt to hustle, especially when it came to Rodney, the guy who got kidnapped from the middle of Atlantis herself.

John stepped out of the transporter and registered a marked difference in the air, the chill temperature and clean tingle, before he felt the bright, sudden shock of being pelted with ice.

“What the hell, McKay?!” John growled as he glared at his smugly, smirking soon to be ex-friend.

“It’s snowing,” Rodney pointed out, as if it weren’t completely obvious.

“You ambushed me,” John accused.

Rodney preened at the perceived compliment. “Teyla or Ronon?” he asked in an apparent non sequitur.

John paused then realization stretched his mouth into a devious grin. Rodney’s shoulders were already convulsing with laughter as he scooped up enough snow to form a snowball.

He tapped his earpiece. “Ronon, could you meet me on the east pier?”

And then they'll start a war and back-stab each other, trying to get Ronon and Teyla on their side and the sides will switch and be flexible until they all just gang up on John.

It wasn't too bad. I had my inhaler, a warm duvet, my laptop and an apologetic best friend making me hot chocolate whenever I asked. lol, I wonder what John whould do for Rodney?

Ah, guilt is a powerful motivator. I can't be sick until tomorrow. Unfortunately, I'm more likely to keep over from lack of sleep coupled with stress.

I would love to see an Atlantis-wide snowball fight. And considering how serious a lot of fandom seems to be, this was quite fun.

Although, y'know, surely they alone cannot hope to overcome the might of Ronon. Especially if only equipped with snowballs.

I dunno, Atlantis wide might be tricky. They are in the middle of an ocean...but one of the scientists would probably make a snow machine to attack all the competition and it would go on a rampage...yeah, snowball fights in Atlantis would be cracky.

They might ger in one shot at Ronon if they strategize. They they'll run.
